Faith Formation
Christian Education Program for Children and Youth
Church classes for the very young through high school are held on Sunday mornings. A Bible-based curriculum, dedicated teachers and many special events help students on their faith journey. Church School students join us in the early portion of our worship services before attending Church School. All are welcome to participate. Membership in the Church is not required.

Confirmation  (8th Grade)
Confirmands meet twice a month with the pastor in addition to their normal Sunday morning class with Craig Wood. The “Confirm not Conform” curriculum is used during their time together. Meetings are held on Sundays at 11:30 and provide a safe place for eighth graders to ask questions, express their doubts, and discover what they truly believe. In addition, there will be some special dates that fall on Holy Week to allow for some focused learning with parents and/or sponsors. Also, a retreat experience and special trips are offered.
Childcare
Childcare is provided for children ages three and under on Sundays beginning at 9 am in Room 1 on the lower level of the Education Building. Children are taught a short Church School lesson which includes an activity and craft, followed by free play, singing, story time and more!
Childcare may be available for certain special events; check with the church office.
Kids R&R (Kids Recognizing and Responding)
(Grades 3 - 5)
Kids R&R helps children recognize need in the world and their power to respond to that need with God's grace (and a little elbow grease). This group meets on the third Sunday of the month with Aislinn Cholet to work on fun projects in service to our communities, our church, our neighborhood, and our world.
YPS (Youth Service Group)
(Grades 6 - 8)
Pre-Confirmation
Students actively participate in community service projects throughout the church school year led by Nadine Pappas and Craig Wood. Church membership is not required.
YPS (Young People's Society)
(Grades 9 - 12)
YPS
High School students plan special trips and activities that include social, educational and service functions. Church membership is not required.
Family Faith
Children and Bibles
The Family Faith is an intergenerational group geared toward families with children (babies/youngsters), parents, grandparents and friends. Each meeting features faith study, activities, singing and food led by Jan Spoerl. The group meets once per month, usually on Saturday from 11:30 – 1:00, but times and days are flexible due to seasonal events and school calendars.
Children and Youth Groups
Groups are available for children and youth of all ages to enjoy fellowship and activities and to learn about and participate in service to others.
